Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior experience required
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- physical ability to stand for long periods walk extended distances lift 6-25 lbs
- ability to use manual dexterity and motor skills
- willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions and with cleaning chemicals

Job Duties
- Establish evaluate and perform work on a cleaning and preventive maintenance program for all flooring surfaces of the hotel
- keep abreast of new cleaning procedures products and technology
- work to build a team approach among various hotel departments
- greet hotel guests in a friendly and warm manner
- stock cleaning cart with appropriate supplies
- sweep vacuum wet mop scrub buff and maintain hotel floors using hand tools and powered equipment
- abide by regulations set forth by material safety data sheets
- observe and report the need for repairs to equipment furniture and building components
- empty public space trash bins clean lobby and banquet bathrooms pick up trash on tables and floors
- keep public space cleaning utility closet rooms clean and organized
- perform other duties as assigned
