Job Requirements

18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Pass a background check and drug screen
Experience in load planning, cargo handling, or related aviation field
Strong knowledge of aircraft weight and balance principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with load planning software
Good coordination and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to changing schedules
Knowledge of aviation industry practices
Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets, computers, and mobile devices
Ability to effectively communicate in person and electronically
Eligibility for obtaining necessary credentials and security clearances
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

18 years of age or older

Knowledge of the aviation industry
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices such as iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal - as applicable)
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Develop and implement effective load plans ensuring optimal aircraft balance and weight distribution
Ensure compliance with airline, aviation, and DOT regulations, including vehicle and personnel safety
Utilize specialized software to create and adjust load plans based on flight specifications
Coordinate with ground handlers and cargo agents to manage loading and unloading operations
Communicate load plans and updates clearly to pilots, ground crew, and other key personnel
Respond to last-minute changes in cargo and passenger loads, ensuring continued safety and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of cargo, baggage, and weight distribution for each flight
Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
