Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must acquire and maintain credentials including fingerprint clearance, local airport badging, and background check
- Successful completion of pre-employment process including drug screen, hearing and vision check
- Available to work any shift including day, night, weekends, holidays, with possible mandatory overtime
- Comfortable working with computers and new technology
- Must use radio devices for communication
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Capable of carrying, bending, lifting, and turning with items up to 70 lbs
- Able to perform physical activities like pushing, bending, stooping, climbing, working in tight spaces
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must have and maintain a valid US state driver’s license

Job Duties
- Greeting passengers and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience
- Use appropriate reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, calculate and collect fees
- Ensure passenger information is processed accurately and flights depart on time
- Listen to passengers and resolve issues as per company policies during flight interruptions
- Work in baggage service office to track baggage location and handle questions
- Operate computers, mobile devices, and new technologies effectively
- Stand and walk for eight-hour shifts and handle baggage lifting
- Maintain composure while managing customer challenges
- Read and interpret checked baggage tags and cargo labels
- Prepare and secure aircraft for the next flight
- Use radio devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew
- Ensure compliance with United and FAA regulations and policies
- Lift baggage, boxes, or cargo up to 70 lbs
- Push/pull carts during loading and unloading operations
- Ascend and descend jet-way stairs carrying baggage
- Bend, stoop, and crawl to move and stack cargo in aircraft
- Drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
- Clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
