Job Requirements

  • High school education required, Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years progressive managerial experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including computer keyboard
  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation
  • Effective communication skills with guests and all levels of employees
  • Ability to work in varying crowds and noise
  • Ability to observe and direct employees
  • Ability to hire, motivate and direct individuals
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must adhere to all safety measures and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food and beverage production and preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with effective food and beverage service and sales strategies
  • Experience with the latest food and beverage service equipment
  • Background in financial and operational planning and analysis
  • High school education required, Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management or related field preferred
  • Minimum five years of progressive managerial experience in food and beverage industry
  • Proficient with computer equipment and documentation
  • Strong communication skills with guests and staff
  • Ability to operate in noisy, crowded environments
  • Experience in hiring, motivating, and managing diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Review activities in all areas including restaurant, bars, bowling lanes, and service areas to gauge staffing levels and guest service
  • Partner with the General Manager to establish operational standards and staffing plans
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of food, beverage, and bowling operations to facilitate improvements
  • Review employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Assess cost of sales, inventory levels, and policy effectiveness to optimize operations
  • Assist with recruiting, motivating, evaluating, and directing employees
  • Ensure strict adherence to health code guidelines to maintain high standards
  • Inspect table settings and event preparations for quality and timeliness
  • Coordinate event set up, operation, and breakdown with sales and operations
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, techniques, and venue operations
