Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years high volume experience in fine dining, restaurant, or club operations
- 1-2 years supervisory or operational management experience
- responsible alcohol awareness training certification or equivalent
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge

Job Duties
- Meet or exceed budgetary expectations on all associated line items
- cost control on food and beverage including liquor
- manage labor cost through proper staffing and schedule management
- assist with developing monthly and quarterly specials and events
- complete required paperwork in timely manner
- assist with monthly building inventory
- supervise hourly staff and supervisors, conduct evaluations and set goals
- propose compensation recommendations
- hold departmental staff meetings
- maintain open door policy with staff
- monitor progress of staff and management with continual coaching
- provide ongoing training
- oversee participation in cross training and recertification
- maintain appropriate staffing levels including hiring and terminations
- manage disciplinary documentation
- maintain positive staff relations
- manage and coordinate on-site training programs and seminars
- supervise venue trainers
- conduct alcohol awareness certification classes
- attend training seminars and meetings
- complete weekly schedules for hourly staff
- maintain service and housekeeping standards
- conduct walk throughs
- meet or exceed health and safety requirements
- follow company policies and procedures
- maintain operational supplies
- ensure compliance with alcohol policies
- ensure smooth department operations
- keep guest feedback log
- complete incident reports
- staff coat check area
- coordinate and maximize labor based on sales and volume changes
- ensure adequate environmental standards
- perform daily pre-shift and post-shift meetings
- provide liquor pulls and ensure accurate accounting
- coordinate and oversee private and special events
- perform other duties as assigned
