Job Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or comparable role in events or hospitality industry
- Proven leadership and strong management skills
- Experience dealing with police and public officials
- Ability to manage multiple departments including Security, Ticket Takers, and Ushers
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping
- Ability to wear an earpiece for radio communication
- Carrying an active Guard or PSO card preferred
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership with strong management and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management
- Minimum two years’ experience as House/Operations Manager or comparable role in events or hospitality industry
- Experience working with police and public officials
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments and large staff
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Workday or timekeeping systems is a plus
- Possession of active Guard card or PSO card preferred
Job Duties
- Manage facility operations and maintenance including front of house operations
- Ensure completion of outstanding tasks personally or via delegation
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise part-time staff and supervisors across departments
- Develop and manage overhead expense budgets
- Assist in preparation of annual operations budget with General Manager
- Maintain records and investigate incident reports
- Ensure optimum operating condition of facility equipment
- Resolve guest-related complaints
- Implement Live Nation policies, procedures and standards
- Create and implement recruiting programs for event staff
- Manage onboarding and training for event staff
- Oversee training and development programs for event staff
- Provide a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipality officials
- Coordinate subcontractors and third-party vendors for event success
- Manage and approve payroll for in-house departments
- Perform administrative duties including invoicing and expense tracking
- Ensure execution of compliance policies and procedures
- Represent company and facility in political and community matters
- Perform other assigned duties
