Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in hospitality management
  • Proven background in event sales and promotion
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong budgeting and profitability analysis expertise
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage teams and subcontractors
  • Availability to work flexible hours including event days

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience as a general manager or operations manager in hospitality related business
  • Extensive background in event sales and promotion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers and vendors
  • Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing guest and artist experience
  • Collaborate with marketing and food and beverage teams to create innovative offerings that drive revenue growth and engagement
  • Manage overall concert expenses to maximize profits and protect experience
  • Oversee food and beverage and merchandise performance and strategies
  • Hire, train, schedule employees and work with subcontractors and third-party vendors
  • Promote and establish rental events in venue
  • Work closely with promoters and operations providing standards and compliance direction
  • Coordinate and facilitate event set-up with operations
  • Perform successful settlement and timely flash reports after events
  • Forecast operational expenses and revenue streams
  • Coordinate day of event activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Implement and comply with audit procedures
  • Monitor and review employee performance
  • Manage employee attendance records
  • Work with civic governmental departments and community
  • Manage venue vendors and subcontractors
  • Meet staffing levels and budget targets
  • Generate operations costs flash reports post-event
  • Advance shows with tour security and fulfill requirements
  • Attend events pre-load-in until load-out
