Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years experience in high volume restaurant environment
  • minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • previous experience managing purchasing, receiving, and inventories
  • previous P&L responsibility and accounting knowledge
  • ability to lift 75 pounds
  • ability to work in fast paced, loud, and stressful environment
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to wear radio earpiece during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years experience in high volume restaurant
  • minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • experience managing purchasing, receiving, and inventories
  • experience with P&L responsibility and accounting techniques
  • college degree preferred
  • TIPS certification or equivalent preferred
  • responsible alcohol service certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Recruit and train department managers and supervisors
  • conduct annual performance appraisals of managers and supervisors
  • provide for development of managers and supervisors
  • conduct performance counseling and ensure discipline/termination procedures comply with HOB guidelines
  • ensure conflict resolution procedures are followed
  • ensure compliance with HOB workplace standards
  • facilitate proper inter-departmental communication and organization
  • assist and support team members in job functions as needed
  • maintain appropriate HOB environment
  • maintain all HOB guest service standards
  • maintain high level of guest relations
  • maintain HOB systems for cost controls and inventories
  • assist GM in annual budget and planning process
  • develop strategies to generate and enhance revenue
  • maintain controllable expenses and cost control systems
  • ensure atmosphere is conducive to quality experience
  • maintain standard operating procedures
  • ensure health and safety requirements are met or exceeded
  • maintain positive attitude
  • maintain objective view in all circumstances
  • listen empathetically to management and team members
  • maintain organization and focus
