Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of live music venue production experience
- Experience supporting or leading crews in a high-volume environment
- Ability to step in as acting Production Manager when needed
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of live music venue production experience
- Working knowledge of show advance, load-in/load-out, scheduling, and settlement support
- Experience supporting or leading crews in a high-volume environment
- Ability to step in as acting Production Manager when needed
- Above average time management and multi-tasking skills
- Flexible schedule availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding of house non-union labor practices and policies
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain even-tempered
- Strong interpersonal skills with competent and diplomatic communication
Job Duties
- Coordinate technical and other aspects of production with touring and house production team
- Oversee backstage staff/runners and operations
- Ensure shows run smoothly and on time
- Ensure a safe working environment for all crew and touring personnel
- Anticipate the needs of touring and house production teams
- Supervise all aspects of production from load-in to load-out
- Make quick drives to buy or deliver items for touring and house production as needed
- Help shop, set up, and maintain artist hospitality
- Assist in managing budgetary requirements and tracking financial aspects of shows
- Create and maintain daily band cost spreadsheet
- Ensure production department follows standard operating procedures
- Implement daily and weekly show schedule
- Work with Production Manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within budget
- Advance and facilitate all tour merchandise and VIP needs
- Serve as production lead for special events or shows in absence of production manager
- Assist at other venues as needed when schedule allows
- Translate and input accurate data to venue production schedule
- Maintain accurate daily show records on shared drives
- Manage coordinators and runners to ensure accurate accounting and record keeping of show related expenses
- Reconcile daily show cash and credit accounts
