Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Ability to read, write and perform math calculations
  • Capability to climb truck and handle physical tasks
  • Ability to operate standard manual transmission truck
  • Willingness to work in varied environmental conditions
  • Ability to wear and use protective safety equipment as directed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years driving experience
  • Proficient in reading, writing and math
  • Ability to operate loading and delivery equipment
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of feed according to dispatcher scheduling
  • Perform pre-trip truck inspection following DOT sheet and report deficiencies
  • Load correct weight of feed into the truck and deliver to farm locations
  • Operate boom to load feed cleanly into holding bins without spillage
  • Report spills and issues to Mill Manager or dispatcher
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel purchases, trip tickets, daily logs and timesheets
  • Climb truck to direct loading and use sledgehammer to remove stuck feed as needed
