Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • ability to use reservation software such as OpenTable
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain poise under pressure
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • manage seating arrangements and reservations
  • facilitate smooth communication between hosting and serving staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
  • utilize OpenTable software to manage bookings and guest information
  • respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries
  • assist in coordinating guest flow to optimize dining room operations
