Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum three years of progressive culinary experience including one year in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef role
strong culinary knowledge
excellent leadership and communication skills
ability to work flexible hours and weekends
ability to maintain calm under pressure

Job Qualifications

strong knowledge of cooking methods and preparation techniques

Job Duties

Manage hourly and back-of-house kitchen staff
assist in daily operations including production, prep, special and private events
oversee stewarding, purchasing and receiving
ensure proper preparation and presentation of all food
lead the kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence
maintain a cohesive and efficient kitchen team
work calmly under pressure
