Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant culinary certifications preferred
- Experience with kitchen management software a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to upholding company culture and philosophy
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years progressive culinary experience
- At least 2 years experience in a Sous Chef role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Experience managing culinary budgets and labor
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of Northern Mexican cuisine preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
- Manage private parties and special events culinary coordination
- Ensure culinary staff produce all menu items to the highest standards
- Act as Executive Chef in their absence to professionally run the kitchen
- Monitor and manage culinary budget and labor schedules
- Control overtime and staffing levels for maximum productivity
- Lead and support a cohesive culinary team under pressure
