Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of culinary experience
  • At least two years in a Sous Chef role
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience preferred
  • Two years of experience as a Sous Chef preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Skilled in budget management and labor control
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Northern Mexican cuisine beneficial

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • Manage private parties and special events
  • Supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving
  • Ensure culinary staff create menu items to the highest standards
  • Run the kitchen professionally in absence of the Executive Chef
  • Manage culinary budget and control labor costs
  • Monitor scheduling and overtime for maximum productivity and guest satisfaction
