Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 10 years of culinary experience with at least 5 years in senior management
  • proven leadership skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 10 years of progressive culinary experience preferred
  • 5 years in senior management required
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • expertise in Northern Mexican cuisine or similar culinary styles
  • ability to manage budgets and control food costs
  • proficiency in staff training and development
  • passion for culinary innovation and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • lead the culinary team and direct day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, catering, purchasing, and receiving
  • ensure all culinary employees maximize efficiency and productivity to achieve total guest satisfaction
  • review and evaluate daily guest feedback actively
  • oversee recipe execution and education for culinary and service staff
  • direct food production and plating during service
  • train all line cooks properly and efficiently
  • meet or exceed budgeted food cost percentage
  • foster an educational environment to develop culinary staff for advancement
