Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services is an asset
- ability to operate hand tools and cleaning equipment safely
- valid and clean driver's license
- ability to follow safety protocols
- good physical condition and stamina
Job Duties
- Clean and sweep public thoroughfares
- sweep pavements, gutters, and roadways with hand broom
- collect litter using hand tools
- transfer refuse into containers and empty public litter bins
- remove trash from containers and replace torn or dirty liners
- trash hauling
