Job Requirements

  • Meet Pennsylvania residency requirement
  • Pass a background investigation with no recent felony convictions within the last ten years
  • Be able to perform essential job functions including lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Full-time availability with work hours totaling 75 hours biweekly

Job Qualifications

  • One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or Liquor Store General Manager 1A or equivalent Federal Government job title
  • Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 or equivalent Federal Government job title
  • Two years of lead or supervisory retail sales work experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve business goals
  • Knowledge of retail inventory management and merchandising
  • Ability to ensure excellent customer service standards
  • Understanding of legal compliance related to alcohol sales
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to train and develop staff

Job Duties

  • Lead, direct, and manage all store operations ensuring excellent customer service and business goal achievement
  • Oversee and motivate store staff delegating tasks, monitoring work quality, and providing training
  • Drive sales initiatives including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, assisting customers, and offering recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store environment
  • Manage inventory levels, product placement, and displays for optimal customer experience
  • Handle cash management, sales reporting, and accurate record-keeping per company policies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding alcohol sales
  • Collaborate with management on sales and operational strategies
  • Participate in employee training and performance management
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Safely lift products including overhead lifting up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Oversee staffing schedules ensuring coverage and operational needs
