Job Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid Fayette County food handler license before the first scheduled shift
  • Obtain a Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license provided at hiring
  • Ability to lift and move boxes kegs and crates up to 22.7 kg 50 lb
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and physically demanding environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings late evenings weekends and holidays during Keeneland races and events

Job Qualifications

  • Be organized detail oriented and reliable
  • Basic knowledge of math and inventory control
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or request forms
  • Knowledge of liquors and beverages as well as handling procedures
  • Prior experience in bar warehouse or inventory related positions is valued

Job Duties

  • Receive organize and store all beverage inventory in the liquor storage according to company procedures
  • Pick and prepare liquors beers wines and mixers accurately for bar preparation and restocking
  • Ensure all products are labeled rotated and stored safely to comply with health and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements including requests and returns
  • Assist in performing regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed
  • Keep the liquor storage area clean and orderly at all times comply with all policies related to alcohol handling storage and distribution
  • Communicate inventory needs or shortages to the Beverage Manager
  • Help with loading and transporting products to the bars as needed
  • Adhere to Keeneland standards of professionalism accuracy and hospitality
