Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age for consumption of alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction
- must pass the certification training program
- good communication skills
- knowledge of types, alcohol content, uses and care of liquor department products
- ability to maintain composure under pressure
- ability to operate related equipment
- physical ability to handle stock
- willingness to comply with safety standards and company policies
Job Qualifications

- prior experience in a retail or liquor department preferred

Job Duties
- Build and encourage superior guest service
- engage in suggestive selling and use social media tools to drive guest loyalty and sales
- possess expert knowledge of wine regions, grapes, vineyards, vintages, spirits, beer, and party planning
- stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
- order wine from vendors and place specialty orders
- stock racks and build displays
- order, receive, check and control inventory
- operate checkstand equipment and process customer orders
- enforce cost and quality control measures
- prevent shrink and ensure compliance with stocking and display procedures
- maintain a safe work environment and proper sanitation
- ensure compliance with liquor sales laws
- monitor backroom inventory and security
- perform all job duties with honesty and integrity
- perform other necessary duties as assigned
