Job Duties
- Manage and control the operations of the Liquor Department
- Supervise Liquor Department team members
- Order merchandise and specialty items
- Ensure guest service excellence and product quality
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and information on all products
- Engage guests with wine, spirits, and beer selections
- Build product displays and manage inventory freshness
- Stock and rotate products
- Receive and check inventory for quantity and quality
- Maintain awareness of promotions and plan orders accordingly
- Operate checkstand equipment and process customer orders
- Implement suggestive selling techniques
- Handle cash accurately and follow accounting procedures
- Ensure compliance with liquor sales laws
- Prevent shrink and control costs
- Maintain department sanitation and visual appeal
- Use equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks safely
- Perform all duties with honesty and integrity
