Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- basic liquor knowledge required
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- must be able to frequently lift 5-25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- deliver excellent customer service by promptly greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with alcohol purchases
- provide customers with a fast and accurate transaction
- confirm proper identification for any purchase of alcohol
- utilize basic math skills to provide customers with accurate change
- responsible for processing cash, check and electronic transactions accurately
- bag customers’ groceries, keeping in mind the weight of each bag and separating unlike items
- ensure checkout areas clean and neat
- stock department inventory as directed
- ensure proper fronting of stock in aisles and displays
- ensures proper rotation of stock to ensure quality
- answer incoming phone calls with the appropriate greeting and transfer when necessary
- communicate with supervisor on duty and management regarding issues with equipment and supplies
- any other tasks assigned
