Job Requirements
- must have previous kitchen experience
- employee must have or obtain an Oregon Food Handler's Permit prior to beginning employment
- ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting or moving goods weighing up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule
- availability to work regularly and comply with attendance rules

Job Duties
- maximize dining room and room service revenue through quality, uniformity, portion size and presentation of all food products
- prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards
- start food items prepared ahead of time without over-preparing
- date all food containers and rotate as per Sheraton Hotel standards
- check pars for shift use and assist in buffet stocking
- return unused food items to designated storage areas with proper covering and dating
- assist in correcting food cost problems and controlling food waste
- support all kitchen, banquet and room service staff
- operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment
- comply with attendance rules and perform other job-related duties as assigned
