Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience preferred
  • ability to read and understand banquet event orders menus recipes prep lists and signage
  • willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • proactive self-motivated and organized
  • knowledge of sanitation procedures and personal hygiene
  • ability to work well in a stressful environment and adapt to change
  • punctual and dependable
  • ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • physical stamina to stand kneel lift at least 50 pounds carry push walk and bend
  • must practice safe work habits and complete safety training
  • availability for Colorado Rapids games and other scheduled events

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred
  • 2 to 4 years working in fast-paced restaurant caterer or relevant food service area desired
  • ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders menus recipes prep lists and signage
  • willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • proactive self-motivated organized with ability to prioritize
  • knowledge of sanitation procedures and personal hygiene
  • ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change quickly
  • punctual and dependable
  • able to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • physical ability to stand kneel lift at least 50 pounds carry items push carts walk fast pace and bend

  • availability for majority of Colorado Rapids games and additional events

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly positive attitude and professional demeanor always
  • report for scheduled event on time and report to assigned area promptly
  • fulfill assigned opening and closing duties including outdoor stations
  • carry out assigned tasks using correct recipes in a timely and safe manner
  • maintain walk-in coolers reach-ins dry storage and all work areas
  • know all menus including specials extensively
  • communicate with Executive Chef Sous Chef Culinary Supervisors and other departments
  • work as a team with fellow associates and service departments
  • maintain clean sanitary and orderly kitchen environment
  • complete closing duties and checkout with supervising chefs
  • know kitchen layout and direct staff and guests as needed
  • be aware of other food and beverage outlets within the venue
  • accept reassignments and perform other duties as assigned
