Job Duties
- Distribute and retrieve patient linen according to prescribed procedures
- Maintain PAR levels of inventory linen on patient units
- Complete computerized inventory records of linen and materials
- Collect and dispose of soiled linen following hospital universal precautions and procedures
- Rotate linen weekly to ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Maintain work station cleanliness and orderliness
- Maintain PAR levels on emergency or disaster carts before and during use
