Job Duties
- Ensure all clean linen is weighed in upon delivery
- All clean linen is immediately taken to the authorized clean linen storage room
- Perform other duties as assigned in a manner that is in keeping with departmental customer service standards
- Inspect all linen as it is delivered to the units, ensure that linen is free of stains, smells, etc.
- Delivery of scrubs to dispensing machines are performed as required
- Soiled scrub pickup is performed and soiled scrubs brought down to the bulk soiled linen collection room
- Consolidate carts, take empty bins to the soiled chute room, download collected data, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the clean linen bulk storage room
- Take clean linen to distribution points and conduct inventory of on-hand supplies using hand-held devices
- Restock units with appropriate levels of linen
