Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year experience preferred
- Able to read and write
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to scan, read, interpret linen data and access computer files
- Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach, lift, push and pull
- Able to move carts weighing up to 700 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
- Proficient in using hand held scanners and computer systems
- Knowledge of linen handling safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and efficient manner
- Demonstrates correct procedure including safety in handling linen items
- Reads, accesses and interprets linen data
- Operates hand held scanner and computer
- Maintains a courteous and professional manner at all times
- Resolves fill rate issues for facilities
- Assists with phases of Linen Services Unit including washing, folding, packing, sorting, counting and distribution
