Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- minimum of one year housekeeping experience in a related hotel position preferred
- schedule flexibility including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to count and provide inventory numbers
- ability to identify and report issues
- ability to assist housekeeping leadership with any request and communicate issues
- must be personable and professional
- at discretion of San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, may require obtaining and maintaining gaming license
- no driving responsibilities required

Job Duties
- Sort dirty linen and terry coming down the chute in the laundry room
- place full bins in designated area for laundry company pickup
- transport linen bins with clean linen and terry to designated areas
- restock housekeeping carts with linen, terry, amenities and supplies
- separate stained linen, rags, damaged items and biohazards in separate marked bins
- ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies following OSHA rules
- complete training for chemical usage and ensure proper labeling of hazardous supplies
- maintain equipment and follow health and safety guidelines
- motivate employees to collaborate, learn, perform and develop skills
- lead by example, empower, share knowledge and coach team members
- report maintenance issues pertaining to chute room to Supervisor or Office Coordinator
- perform other duties as assigned to support efficient department operation
