Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow general supervision and instructions
- Physical ability to lift and transport linen carts
- Good communication skills for interaction with nursing staff and supervisors
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- Commitment to maintaining production and quality standards
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Collect soiled linen from user area soiled linen utility rooms and transport soiled linen carts to primary hold area
- Transport clean linen to user areas on a route scheduled basis
- Stock and restock clean linen as required
- Assist truck driver with the loading of soiled linen carts and unloading of clean linen carts
- Interact with user area nursing staff to resolve routine related problems
- Keep department Leader or Supervisor advised of any reported linen problems
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness of clean and soiled user area utility rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned by department Supervisor
- Responsible for the proper performance of assigned duties under general supervision including the attainment and maintenance of production and quality standards
