Job Qualifications

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role

  • strong ability to report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair
  • support all other cast members working on the team
  • display clear and concise verbal and written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding with guests and fellow cast members
  • previous hotel washer/dryer experience or experience in a similar environment is preferred
  • previous warehouse or similar type work or experience is preferred
  • previous experience working in a highly repetitive job such as factory work or heavy machine operator is preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with opening of new linen and help sort all rejected linen
  • deliver and pick-up linens from within the Resort
  • retrieve clean linen and stage it in storage area and keep storage area clean
  • prepare daily invoices of deliveries and assist in production area
  • report unsafe conditions and malfunctioning equipment to Assistant Manager or Working Leads
  • remove linen carts to trailer and assist pulling carts to laundry area
  • assist with loading, unloading and delivery of linen around the Resort
  • sort soiled linen into each classification weight and load into rail for washing
  • maintain, clean and clear chute of soil when assigned to a tower
  • keep work area clean and report any unsafe conditions
  • pull/push carts from chutes to trailers or laundry area
  • responsible for keeping the laundry facility clean
  • collect debris throughout the production floor area
  • sweep, mop and buff all floors
  • use high-pressure blower to remove dust and lint from machinery and surrounding areas
  • empty all trash cans and vacuum office
  • clean light fixtures, vents, tops of machinery, walls and overhead structures
  • empty reclamation tank residue into trash
  • transport empty chemical drums to back storage area
  • dispose of boxes and pallets
