- ability to follow instructions and hospital protocols
- good physical stamina to handle lifting and carrying linen
- effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
- willingness to work flexible hours if needed
Job Duties
- receive clean linen from the laundry and distribute throughout the hospital
- remove soiled linen from floors and relocate to area for pickup by laundry truck
- maintain cleanliness and organization of linen storage areas
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of linen to hospital departments
- follow hospital protocols for handling contaminated or soiled linens
- assist other departments with linen-related needs as required
- report any linen supply issues to supervisors
