Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- no previous experience required
- ability to perform physical work involving lifting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally
- willingness to work weekend day shifts
- ability to work under moderate exposure to chemicals and hazardous materials
- adherence to hospital and departmental policies
- excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- no minimum experience required
- bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni or Navajo preferred
- computer and data entry skills preferred
- knowledge of linen handling and hospital policies helpful
- ability to follow safety protocols and maintain equipment
Job Duties
- Collect soiled linen from designated areas for transport to laundry holding areas
- load and unload soiled and fresh linen for delivery to assigned areas
- distribute clean linen to assigned stock points
- stock linen according to department guidelines and monitor linen inventory
- ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- provide high quality service to meet or exceed department customer service goals
- promote workplace safety
