Job Duties
- Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation
- Distribution of clean linen to user departments
- Pack making and soiled linen pick-up
- Fill linen carts
- Deliver linen carts to various floors or locations
- Pick up soiled linen from the various floors
- Fold operating room green scrubs
- Deliver scrubs to designated scrub machine locations
- Fill and load scrub machines in various locations
- Unloading linen carts from linen company
- Use handhelds to do linen cart counts
- Cleaning and sweeping the floor in the department
- Cleaning linen carts
- Changing linen cartwheels
- Use of computers to run linen reports
- Other duties as assigned
