Job Requirements
- Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent
- one year of experience in a position requiring extensive public contact
- six months experience with aircraft fueling
- must possess Aircraft Re-Fueling certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire
- must possess or obtain National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Safety Certification within 30 days of hire
- possession of a valid Class C driver's license
- must obtain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge within 30 days of employment and maintain it
- ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) security access clearance within 30 days of employment and maintain it
- ability to pass a drug test prior to employment and random drug screenings thereafter
- ability to work rotating shifts and in all weather conditions
- must be able to meet all initial and recurrent training requirements under Title 14 CFR part 139 and related policies
- ability to pass a medical physical examination
Job Qualifications

- previous experience with a Fixed Based Operator (FBO) desirable
- previous experience with a customer service section of an air carrier desirable
Job Duties
- Monitors operations and activities on the general aviation ramp to ensure environmental compliance and safety
- reports discrepancies and follows up as required
- uses approved signals, equipment, and knowledge of aircraft size and types to marshal aircraft to assigned parking positions
- bends, stoops, kneels, or crawls beneath aircraft to perform securing tasks and lavatory, potable water, and power unit services
- uses DFW Board ramp equipment to tow and reposition aircraft on the Corporate Aviation ramp requiring visual cues and acute depth perception
- operates DFW Board vehicles to transport customers between Corporate Aviation and DFW main airport terminals and other approved destinations on DFW Airport property
- lifts and lowers items weighing up to 70 pounds without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance
- operates DFW Board vehicles including golf carts, vans, trucks, aircraft tugs, and towing equipment on the Corporate Aviation ramp under all weather conditions
- operates Aircraft Re-fueler on the Corporate Aviation ramp under all weather conditions
