Job Description
Mt. Pleasant Regional Airport is a public-use airport located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, serving the aviation needs of the surrounding community and private pilots alike. Job Requirements
- High school graduation or acquisition of a GED
- six months of experience in a related field of work
- or equivalent training education and or experience
- ability to work a set schedule and flexible to work overtime holidays and covering time off as needed
- valid South Carolina driver's license

- ability to conduct safety inspections and operate ground support equipment
- knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- familiarity with fuel quality control procedures
- valid South Carolina driver’s license
- ability to follow emergency response protocols
- basic administrative and record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Conducts daily airfield safety inspections
- uses vehicle and handheld radio to inspect runways and ramp areas for hazards
- ensures runway and airport lighting are operable
- conducts FBO facility and property inspections
- performs janitorial duties at the FBO
- ensures security of perimeter fencing and gates
- inspects T-Hangars monthly
- initiates emergency response procedures and notifies appropriate authorities
- conducts fuel quality control procedures following ATA specifications
- dispenses correct fuel type for different aircraft
- receives and accepts fuel deliveries verifying fuel quality
- manages ramp traffic and directs aircraft to parking
- facilitates aircraft tie-down procedures using FAA-approved knots
- facilitates aircraft towing including pre-tow safety inspections
- processes documentation related to operations
- operates various equipment including fuel trucks, golf carts, radios, and payment devices
- performs other duties as assigned
