Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
  • pass FAA drug and alcohol testing
  • pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks
  • provide excellent customer service
  • complete NATA Safety First and Clay Lacy Aviation training
  • ability to perform manual tasks including facility cleaning, vehicle washing, and aircraft window cleaning
  • available to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and graveyard shifts
  • able to work without direct supervision
  • comfortable working outdoors day, night and in all weather conditions
  • follow safety procedures and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to make decisions with multiple objectives

Job Duties

  • Fuel aircraft in accordance with ATA Specifications 103 and AirBP GAFO Standards
  • marshal aircraft under direct supervision
  • ensure aircraft are chocked and secure
  • effectively and safely communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment
  • aircraft lavatory and potable water service
  • safely operate refueling trucks up to 10,000 gallons
  • load and unload baggage
  • assist pilots with aircraft pre and post flight services
  • top off fuel trucks and complete proper fuel farm paperwork
  • operate light ground support equipment
  • provide basic security duties to people and property
  • direct people, drivers and flight crews on ramp area
  • drive company and client vehicles off site
  • assist other departments as required including facility and hangar cleaning
  • other duties and tasks as assigned
