Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have exceptional mathematical skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Physically able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have strong interpersonal and verbal skills
- Must be tactful, courteous, and conscience of client needs
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions such as snow, sleet, rain, and hot/cold temperatures
- Must be willing and able to work any shift when assigned
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of various aircraft types and servicing is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional mathematical skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in various weather conditions such as snow, sleet, rain, hot and cold temperatures
- Strong interpersonal and verbal skills
- Tactful, courteous, and attentive to client needs
- Ability to work any assigned shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Responsible for all aircraft and ramp coordination during assigned shifts
- Assist Line Manager and Line Technician Trainer with training new employees
- Maintains shift reports and related paperwork
- Must understand and exemplify what it means to be a partner at Modern Aviation
- Promotes and always maintains a positive image of Modern Aviation to all personnel, members, volunteers, vendors, and the community
- Ensures a safe operation protecting customers, staff, and equipment from harm
- Assists passengers and flight crews with professional Seven Star Service, offering additional services and exceeding customer expectations
- Responsible for the movement, placement, storage, de-icing, and fueling of an aircraft
- Operate a wide variety of aircraft ground support equipment
- Exemplifies ramp awareness regarding aircraft, debris on the ramp, or impending inclement weather procedures
- Perform work with minimal supervision
- Ability to make fast decisions using judgment consistent with company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by shift-lead or Line Manager
- Understands exposure to hazardous noise, chemicals, machinery, and weather conditions
