Job Requirements

  • Valid OLCC Server permit preferred
  • ability to work part-time schedule including varied shifts Monday through Sunday
  • minimum age requirement as per legal serving regulations
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • reliable transportation to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • valid OLCC Server permit preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and OSHA guidelines
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • teamwork and cooperation skills

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service by offering one-on-one attention to detail
  • participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items adhering to company food standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control
  • clean work area and equipment used in food preparation and service
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • deliver food items to and from the main kitchen
  • promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff
  • cooperate with staff of other departments in performing job duties
  • contribute to the team exhibiting professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others
  • perform other duties as assigned
