Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Able to work part-time schedule with varying days and hours
- Valid Food Handler's card preferred
- Capable of adhering to federal, state and local food safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food service, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening if applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
- Valid Food Handler's card preferred
- Ability to follow food safety regulations and company policies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic math skills for portion control and cash handling if required
- Dependable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- Participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for presentation, sanitation and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control
- Cleans work area and equipment used in food preparation and service
- Follows all safety and sanitation procedures
- Delivers food items to and from main kitchen
- Promotes clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff
- Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties
- Contributes to the team
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
- Performs other duties as assigned
