Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior food service experience is preferred
- ability to work full time with variable days and hours including rotating weekends
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties of the job
- willingness to adhere to company policies and guidelines
- ability to pass required background checks
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- prior food service experience is preferred
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards including HACCP and OSHA
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- professionalism in customer and coworker interactions
Job Duties
- provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for presentation, sanitation and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control
- cleans work area and equipment used in food preparation and service
- follows all safety and sanitation procedures
- delivers food items to and from main kitchen
- promotes clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff
- cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties
- contributes to the team
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
- performs other duties as assigned
