Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
- ability to read and write simple correspondence in English
- must be able to respond to verbal and written instruction
- must comply with GMP requirements
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours
- work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
- ability to read and write simple correspondence in English
- bi-lingual is a plus
- basic mathematical skills
- must be able to respond to verbal and written instruction
- must comply with GMP requirements
- specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours
Job Duties
- Ensures that the packaging line is set-up and runs productively following all Packaging Operations SOPs and cGMPs
- completes appropriate paperwork
- responsible for proper data entry in all packaging log books
- checking of bulk and packaging components before start-up of line
- cleaning and organizing of the packaging line
- ensure no machines running are left unattended
- participates in training of new line attendants
- additional duties as assigned
