Job Requirements

  • current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
  • helicopter instrument rating
  • current FAA Class II medical certificate
  • 2000 total flight hours
  • 1500 helicopter hours
  • 1000 helicopter PIC hours
  • 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)
  • 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Job Qualifications

  • current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
  • helicopter instrument rating
  • current FAA Class II medical certificate
  • minimum 2000 total flight hours
  • minimum 1500 helicopter hours
  • minimum 1000 helicopter PIC hours
  • minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)
  • ability to meet 230 pound weight limit with flight gear
  • B407 aircraft experience preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent or higher

Job Duties

  • work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in compliance with FAR and company requirements including cleanliness
  • maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • provide shift change information to successive pilot and team according to Air Evac Lifeteam protocols
  • maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training
