Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
  • Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Must be willing to collaborate with other company departments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions
  • Recent experience on commercial aircraft types
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial aviation maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport with no travel restrictions
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operations preferred
  • Experience with Embraer E-Jet family aircraft preferred
  • Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership role preferred
  • Knowledge of airline Maintenance Information Systems such as TRAX preferred
  • Understanding of Safety Management System (SMS) rules preferred
  • Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals and teams at all organizational levels

Job Duties

  • Perform all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
  • Assign AMTs and related personnel according to work package requirements or Maintenance Operations Control guidance
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve maintenance-related problems promptly
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with assignments from Maintenance Planning and Breeze policies
  • Enforce maintenance and safety policies and procedures
  • Update Maintenance Operations Control on aircraft status and technical delays
  • Review all maintenance documentation and maintain accuracy in the Maintenance Information System (MIS)
  • Complete work turnover processes
  • Verify AMTs have received required training
  • Provide all necessary materials and equipment for task completion
  • Conduct safety briefings and maintain a clean, safe work environment focused on preventing Foreign Object Damage (FOD)
  • Authorize overtime, vacation, and training schedules
  • Ensure direct reporting AMTs comply with the Breeze Team Services Playbook-Handbook
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Achieve performance measures aligned with Breeze’s values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
