Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise maintenance teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations and company maintenance policies
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance supervision
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and standards
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervises all shift operations in the line maintenance directly or through supervisors in accomplishing aircraft maintenance
  • Establishes priorities and plans to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance items in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensures that all personnel follow established quality requirements and guidelines and that work is accomplished and properly documented per Company and FAA requirements
  • Supervises the completion of the paperwork at each shift change and verifies that all partial work accomplished is documented and that all paperwork is accounted for, turned in, and is available for the start of the next shift
  • Reviews and approves parts requisitions after determining that the need is justified and other alternatives have been considered
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment in active work areas
  • Enforces all Company safety policies and procedures, instructs employees in the correct way to avoid injuries and schedules required safety training as required
