Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to manage stress and perform in a high-volume environment

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are available to Team Members and accurately record actual times
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure proper food handling and maximum shelf life
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable production and merchandising area
- Effectively communicate with management and assist with guests’ and team members’ needs promptly
- Utilize the POS system to accurately enter guest information and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly, preserving item quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing, including locking the safe, doors, and setting the alarm
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
