Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Uphold safety standards and report injuries on time
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory management
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and accurately recorded
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products
- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable production and merchandising area
- Effectively communicate with management, Guests and Team Members to promptly address issues and inquiries
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to enter guest information, take-out orders and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item quality and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing including locking the safe, doors, and setting the alarm
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
