Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least 21 years of age
1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
Basic math skills required
Excellent communication skills required
Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English required
Commitment to company core values and teamwork principles
Ability to manage stress and perform in a high-volume environment
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work well under time constraints and prioritize multiple responsibilities
Ability to uphold and manage standards procedures and processes

Job Duties

Apply thorough knowledge understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
Monitor all meals being served for appearance quality standards portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries promptly
Assist management in controlling food and labor costs including purchasing receiving and inventory
Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and recorded accurately
Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
Properly label date rotate and store all products ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation
Maintain clean safe and presentable production and merchandising areas
Communicate effectively with management and respond to guests and team members inquiries to satisfaction
Utilize POS system accurately for guest orders and sales completion
Bag orders efficiently preserving item quality and presentation
Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
Secure the building at closing ensuring all safety protocols are met
Perform other job-related duties as necessary
