Job Duties

  • Apply thorough knowledge understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
  • Monitor all meals being served for appearance quality standards portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
  • Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
  • Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries promptly
  • Assist management in controlling food and labor costs including purchasing receiving and inventory
  • Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and recorded accurately
  • Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
  • Properly label date rotate and store all products ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation
  • Maintain clean safe and presentable production and merchandising areas
  • Communicate effectively with management and respond to guests and team members inquiries to satisfaction
  • Utilize POS system accurately for guest orders and sales completion
  • Bag orders efficiently preserving item quality and presentation
  • Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
  • Secure the building at closing ensuring all safety protocols are met
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary
