Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of mis-en-place is prepared for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries
- Assist Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory management
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are provided and accurately recorded for team members
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling, shelf life and sanitation compliance
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and presentability in production and merchandising areas
- Communicate effectively with management, guests and team members
- Utilize POS system to accurately enter guest information and complete sales
- Bag take-out orders efficiently, preserving quality and presentation
- Set the tone and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
