Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- basic math skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- assist the Chef and the Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs as well as purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- ensure meal and rest breaks are available and accurately recorded for team members
- assist in establishing proper par levels and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling and sanitation compliance
- maintain production and merchandising areas clean, safe and presentable
- effectively communicate with management and respond to guests' and team members' needs and inquiries
- utilize the POS system to enter guest information and complete sales
- bag orders efficiently preserving item quality
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building at closing including locking the safe, doors and setting the alarm
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
