Job Requirements
- at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred
- basic math skills required

Job Duties
- apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with established policies and procedures
- ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time, safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- assist in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of kitchen items
- ensure meal and rest breaks are made available and accurately recorded
- assist in establishing proper par levels and conduct inventories
- properly label, date, rotate and store all products for food handling and sanitation compliance
- ensure production and merchandising area is clean, safe and presentable
- communicate effectively with management, guests and team members to address needs and inquiries
- utilize the POS system to enter guest’s information and complete sales
- bag orders efficiently preserving quality and presentation
- set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- secure the building especially at closing by locking doors, safe and setting alarms
- perform other job-related duties as necessary
