Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1-2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Basic math skills required
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including openings and closings

Job Duties

  • Apply thorough culinary techniques to execute menu items
  • Monitor meal appearance, quality, portion control, and temperature
  • Ensure stations are set up properly with sufficient supplies
  • Uphold safety standards and properly use kitchen equipment
  • Assist with controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, and inventory
  • Ensure meal and rest breaks are provided and documented
  • Label, date, rotate, and store products properly
  • Maintain clean, safe, and presentable production areas
  • Communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members
  • Use POS system accurately for orders and sales
  • Assemble and bag orders neatly preserving quality
  • Set the tone for the shift and take responsibility for results
  • Secure building and alarm at closing
  • Perform other related duties as necessary
